Guarantee services in dentistry
Although we take the utmost care in all dental treatments, we cannot guarantee the success of medical measures.
In the event of a breach of the duty of care by the treating dentist, the dentist or his liability insurance is responsible.
The limitation period is 10 years and begins after completion of the treatment. However, a different rule applies to dental work. In legal terms, this falls under a contract for work and labour and not under an order between patient and dentist like the rest of the treatment. The warranty period for contracts for work is 1 year and applies to the contractual relationship between dentist and dental technician.
Optimum protection for your dental health in Switzerland
In Switzerland, it is possible to take out additional dental insurance in addition to the compulsory basic insurance. There is a wide range of insurances on offer, but the conditions vary considerably.
It is advisable to take out dental insurance for children as early as possible. As a rule, no medical certificate is required before the age of 5 and children are accepted by the health insurance company without any problems. We recommend that you take advantage of this window of opportunity.
If dental insurance is to be taken out for an adult, it is important that the dental status is checked beforehand. If future treatment is expected, there is a risk that the insurance will be declined.
If you already have supplementary insurance, you can simply send a copy of the dental bill to your insurance company once you have paid it. They will reimburse part of the costs.
Price policy of our dental practice
In our practice, we adhere to the official Swiss dental tariff negotiated between the Swiss Dental Association and the social insurance organisations.
Tax points:
- 1.00 for Suva tariff etc.
- 1.25 for private patients according to the reception desk
Payment options:
- Advance payment for new patients: CHF 250
- 5 % Discount for cash payment, EC/postal cards
- 2 % discount for credit cards
- Other settlements via the dental insurance fund (ZAK)
- Instalment agreements etc. after consultation with ZAK
Missed appointments:
Please cancel appointments 24 hours in advance. If you do not cancel in time, you will be charged for the consultation.
Ombudsman's office
Our top priority is to always work to your complete satisfaction. Should this not be the case, please do not hesitate to contact us. If no agreement can be reached between you and the specialist staff treating you, our internal ombudsperson will be at your disposal. They will assess the situation objectively and endeavour to find a satisfactory solution.
If no agreement can be reached here either, there is always the option of contacting the cantonal ombudsman's office.
